ISBI: Generation 1 - Round 7

‣ Aryan went off to college!
‣ Anika aged up and became a teen.
‣ Callum and Ravima got "mature" makeovers!

We start off the round with... a party!
Since I can't visit community lots (keeps crashing), I am bringing the "fun" home!






Callum invites some friends and his son, Aryan, who's currently away at uni!




*guests dancing their cares away*




Aryan does not approve of Cara swooning over his dad!




Callum gets a little bit too comfortable with one of the guests, Elise.
Lucky for him, Ravima isn't home from work yet!

I spotted Aryan heart-farting over one of the townies, Shaunee!






I would be soo happy if they paired up, but Shaunee didn't seem too interested.
Also, both already have partners (¬_¬)

A beautiful night with clear skies – perfect for stargazing!




I guess Callum was in the mood for something more tantalizing!
He started spying on some townies, hehe.

Anika finally got an "A " !
She ran to tell her father... but walked in on him "romancing" the mirror (⊙_◎)




An embarrassed Callum quickly changes into his work attire to congratulate her!




It was so cute! She was so overjoyed, jumping all over the place!
The bathroom is tiny, so this was the only way to capture it.

Ravima arrived home from work and brought a co-worker, Yara.
And I finally discovered her career: Show Business!

Yara: *swoons over Ravima*

Ravima: Ugh! Why must I be so irresistible?!






Yara's baby bump popped which didn't impress Ravima much...
Ravima is sooo over babies!




Despite the "bump interruption", fun was still had!

Well, well! Look who isn't a total idiot after all!
Anika is the first non-torch holder to make a meal – and a serving platter, at that!

The peaceful night is disrupted by the arrival of a most unwanted guest!




Poor Anika was so scared, that she ran outside of the house and watched from a distance!






The officer easily kicked his butt!




See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya!
And never wanna see ya (again)!

Anika wakes up in a bad mood; she was fairly shaken by last night's invasion.




It wasn't how I wanted her to spend her last night at home, but oh well.
Anika calls the institution and is awarded a scholarship for her excellent grades!






Anika quickly and quietly leaves the home, without even saying goodbye to her parents!
I guess she's eager to leave the nest... and the bad memories behind.

And then... there were two!
Maybe it's time to make more?! /jk

It's date night!




Callum and Ravima were hoping to dine in a nice & romantic restaurant but...
my game kept crashing all venues were fully booked!








"Happy Anniversary"

Callum decides to shoot his shot... and he scores!
After two children and a lifetime together, Ravima finally accepts to be his girlfriend.




I considered having Callum pop the next big question, but I didn't want to tempt fate!

• I am so happy for Callum and Ravima – they are officially "official"!
• Anika's last memories of home were tainted, so I hope university will treat her better.
• The second generation is right around the corner and I can't wait to pick the next torch holder!

Story Progression Mod — Spares Update
Let's see what the 'spares' have been up to during this time!


Anika has joined her big brother, Aryan, at Vervainwort University.
She is currently a freshman with a major in Drama, while he is about to graduate!

Both are serious underachievers — having GPAs below 1.5
I don't think mum and dad would be too happy. Oof!

Haha, it took Callum and Ravima a while to label their relationship XD I'm glad they got here! Maybe they can even get that damn engagement in their elder years!
Anika is still doing surprisingly well, good for her!
Will you select the torch holder, or will there be a voting or something?

Better late than never, right? I'm happy that Callum was finally able to win her over. I must admit that watching get rejected over and over, in the beginning, was heartbreaking, oooof! I was ready to end things between them, but Callum was so in love with her! He'd flirt with others a bit, and go right back to her.

I decided to select the next torch holder myself! I'm excited to start the next generation!! If there's a generation with several kids and I'm unable to pick, then I'd probably have a vote. Otherwise, I'll probably do the choosing every time.

LOL! Spying on the neighbours with the telescope AND a burglary? Callum has definitely brought some of that Brightmaple flavour to your hood!
Him and Ravima are still so cute together, and the kids have grown up great.
I really hope you'll be able to sort the crashing issue, that's so frustrating!

Haha! I like to think so too! In my mind, Callum relocated from Brightmaple to Feverfew, so his presence in the small town was bound to shake things up!

Actually, I figured out the reason for the crashes. I had a mod which increased the numbers of sims on community lots. I LOVE THAT MOD, but sadly, my system could not handle it. I removed it and everything works, but I'm so bummed out about it. I will miss having busy and bustling lots.
