Anika has moved out of her childhood home, and into her own space!

First things, first: get a job!
And WOW! The very first opening is in her LTW career track.
Anika invites her parents over to celebrate some milestones:
getting a job and her own place!
Anika: Kerby-baby! You excited to meet your grandpa and grandma, huh?!

Her mother, Ravima immediately barges in to scope the place.
She is less than impressed by the lack of furniture...
In Anika's defense, she is a broke college graduate. The funds to properly furnish the place are not there... yet!
Meanwhile, her father Callum

Since her parents were too busy to pay her any attention, Anika starts preparing lunch.
Although her parents kept talking over her, Anika managed to mention her achievements.
Whether or not it registered for her parents is another story.

Lunch with the parents was not what Anika expected.
She gets dolled up and heads out for the night, in hopes of having a better time!
She visits the town's newest spot, The Tower Inn.
Looking food, Anika! Knock 'em dead, gurl!
There wasn't a single soul on site! So, Anika kept busy with the dartboard.
I supposed that's to be expected for a Monday night, but still...
I don't know who she's smiling at... There's literally no one!
Finally, people start to trickle in and so, Anika scopes the place...
No one catches her eye.
She tries her luck outside and finds someone: Carter!

It was getting late, so Anika called it a night.
Time to gives Kerby some cuddles and get ready for her first day of work!

Anika wakes up to the blaring sound of her alarm...
and the awful news that her crush has a girlfriend now!
Talk about a rude awakening!
And they said Monday mornings were bad, but Tuesday takes the cake!
Anika goes to work with only one thing on her mind.
Don't worry girl, I am plotting ways to get him back!

After work, Anika gives Carter a call, but he isn't home.
She kills time by playing with Kerby!

She gives Carter another call, but he still isn't picking up (his lost!)
So, Anika calls another guy that she met at the bar, Abe.
They also seemed to have good chemistry!
Anika greets Abe, and directs him straight to the bedroom...
No beating around the bush with Anika!
It appears that her tactics shocked Abe to the core...
A very flustered Abe pretends like nothing happened and plays with Kerby,
which angers Anika as she was expecting a night a "fun"

Anika bumps into her sister-in-law, Antonia and decides to hang with her.
She needs more friends for work, so perfect timing!
In the middle of a conversation, Antonia's belly pops!
How exciting! Anika will be an auntie!
Anika shares the details of last night's failed booty call
and gets some dating advice from her SIL over lunch.
Then, her guest starting to make a stink and farewells were made.
Just in time too! They became good friends... Promotion here we come!

Anika rolls wants to take Carter out on a date.
She was finally able to get a hold of time and invites him over...
The asshole stood her up! She spent hours looking out the window and waiting for him...
but he never came. Poor girl!

Ravima decides to stop by, however Anika is away at work. Oh well.
*Makes mental note to have Anika visit her mom and dad*
Too bad that cats don't have opposable thumbs to open doors.

After work, Anika receives a call from Carter...
And she falls for whatever bullshit excuse he had for standing up her!
At least, he offered a gift as consolation.

Anika seems very interested in Carter, but I'm not too keen on the idea of them as couple.
Despite rolling wants about Carter, I decided it would be best to have a night in - just her and Kerby.

Al trabajo! I can smell the promotion!! Super excited for her.

Well, well, well... If it isn't the thief of joy himself, Mr. Carter!
And just like that, her hopes of being promoted are snatched from right under her.
I'm starting to really dislike this guy!

Since, Anika has a few days off, it was grand time she visited her parents.
Then, it became Fall, and time to end the round here!
